Leadership Development in Basketball
January 8, 2018
Skyline’s leadership development program assists our high school athletes in meeting NCAA requirements and building leadership skills necessary to be successful in university level athletics. Leadership courses are designed to mimic college level standards.
Courses focus on real life experience and technologies to build life skills, cultural competence and leadership through social/emotional awareness. Community service is incorporated to have students appreciate and embrace different cultures, ages and socio-economic conditions to promote accountability, humbleness, and learn to be leaders in their own communities.
Past students in the Ambassadors Program include:
Meekness Payne committed to Central Arizona College.
Barett Keith committed to Concordia University.
Dwayne Walker committed to Chipola College.
Diego Diaz Colwell committed to Pima Community College.
Both Gach committed to University of Utah.
Carrignton Wiggins committed to Mott Community College.
Keron Bailey committed to Ventura College.
